OK I've updated the defence with feedback as shown below. Thanks again for all the help. The deadline is Monday, so I was going to print, scan and email it tomorrow to allow for processing (is that correct?).

    Yes, that's ok.
Emailing it anytime before 4pm on Monday is fine.

(evidence available to be provided upon request).
This is the only thing to remove, because no-one will request to see this and it will be something that you must later show as evidence with your WS before the hearing.

    Apart from that, good defence!

Thanks for the help so far. I have a question about mediation. I know the advice here is not to ask for mediation, but I was wondering what the justification for that is? General advice from elsewhere is to show the court that you have tried your best to avoid a hearing, so how can I justify refusing mediation?

    Thanks

The mediator will try to compromise both sides into a settlement, but you do not believe that you owe a penny and the PPC believe that you owe everything plus costs

The small claims system isn't set up for this topic, it's usually for rent disputes and builder disputes etc, where there is some substance as to where the common ground us, with contracts etc

Hence why we believe that a judge should decide
