CJJ record

Hi

I have recently found out that I have been given CJJ in Northampton court by "UK Car Park limited" for not displaying a valid parking permint at my home adddress.
I have been living at this address for last 10 years now, I think my permit felt down from my dashboard, once I`ve closed the door, and I went away on holiday.

Anyway, I have registered on Experian and my record shows:

Amount £276
Confirmed by Registry Trust Ltd
Date issued 19 Sep 2018
Type Judgment

"Notes If you have paid a judgment you should contact the court and make sure they are informed. You may wish to request a Certificate of Satisfaction as proof of the change. We will be told that the judgment is satisfied and we will update our records. For further information please see the Report Guide."

What do i do now?
Northampton court told me over the phone to fill out hte form N443 and pay the fees of £255,

OR should I just pay "UK Car Park limited" outstanding balance?
I think is around £270, and after fill out the form N244 ‘setting aside’?
I know "UK Car Park LTD" will change status to fair, but would they supply me certificat and I would need to attach this to N244 form and sent it back to court? What would be a good reason to appeal against it and get this record remvoe completly. I would like to take a mortgage and this is not helping me.

Please advice which option would be best for me or what should I do? N443 or N244?

Thank you in advance.
Regards

Adam

    "UK Car Park limited"
    Who?

Certainly not! That leaves a 'satisfied' CCJ wrecking your credit for 6 years.

You seem to have so far missed the CCJ set aside advice in the second post of the NEWBIES FAQS thread, that already covers this. There was no need to ring the court, the advice is already here.

No link, go read the sticky thread 2nd post and search it for 'CCJ set aside'.

I think I have missed some correspondence from this company. CJJ was issued on 19 Sep 2018, and I just recently found out about it, by registering on Experian website. I have been also threaten with some fake letters, so I never took them serious. I do pay my fines on time but I can`t really remember what exactly happened with this one.

Do anyone know someone who can help me appeal against this and get this remove of my record, I want to get my first mortgage and this surely won`t help.

If the papers were correctly served and you ignored them then it's game over. You have a ccj for 6 years.

If you didn't get the paperwork you can apply for a set aside.

If you are thinking of saying you didn't get them and you did you could end up in a whole world of trouble so don't do that.

Think very carefully and answer did you get the paperwork?

An uphill climb if the following is true:

There's no magic fairy dust to sprinkle I'm afraid.

Did you receive the court claim via the Northampton CCBC and ignored that too (truth)? Think Fiona Onasanya before any statement you might make to the court in submission.
I want to get my first mortgage and this surely won`t help.
This stuff can seriously mess up your life for years. Unless you can come up with a very good reason for not responding to the claim, you may have to put this part of your life on hold for a few years.

Tell us which parking company (2nd request, please don't ignore questions from volunteers trying to help you) and we can see if they might be one which is less unhelpful than the majority of them.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Same as all the set aside threads here. No different. Read them.

No-one here is daft enough to pay PRIVATE parking 'fines'!

You can do this, by doing as I said. It is EASY and we always see CCJs set aside.

I told you what to read.

Write to them. Send a Subject Access Request, known as a SAR. By law they have to reply. Request all information they have on you.

I have a horrible feeling you are going to have to suck this up.

Lastly check the address on your V5c. Is it correct? Please don't guess. Actually look at it and check.
