Maybe a bank statement? - its not guaranteed but worth a shot, otherwise its getting your defence case together ready for court.

    Hi all

Sorry for long delay in update
I sent the letter to both met parking and scs on the 2nd july of which only scs acknowledge the letter and said they will pass on to their client who will respond soon.

Almost 2 months on I have not heard anything from either met parking or scs.

Is there a time limit of which they have to respond to the SAR

No. That is an entirely unrelated issue.

You can of course, indeed should, complain to the Information Commissioner's Office that MET have failed in their duty to respond to a SAR in a timely manner. That is a criminal offence.

Read the SAR documents you've received carefully to check for any holes in what they've sent and keep these for any subsequent action they might take.

You then wait to see if they issue court proceedings, but I suspect you'll be waiting a long time - I don't recall a MET parking case going to court.

And you do know that SCS are not involved here, other than just pimping out their letterhead to DRP?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So reading the Sar documents I do believe I admit to being the driver not my husband.
This claim is now over 2 years old.
I was 13 mins over time allowed

I advised I had used said services for years and probably visit 3_6 times each year if not more. I advised the services only changed signage 2 weeks before my visit.. Hence why I would not look for any signs and did not see anything when I entered.
I explained my 3 year old was not feeling well and said felt sick I stopped as she sometimes suffers sugar lows and the drive makes her feel sick. I gave her a juice of which she unfortunately was sick after drinking I really couldn't do much but clean her up
Not sure why I thought they might have some humanity in a response..
All they say is my appeal was unsuccessful at popla and how long signs were up is irrelevant.
I previously asked for full copy of contract with landowner including all clauses and they ignored this and would not supply.
Also pointed out I have never recieved and penalty before or after and was.

    Original fine was £60
    Then went to£100
Then debt collectors letter went to £175

    Reason for rejecting my appeal
Terms and conditions of parking clearly stated
Decision based on facts and takes into account mitigating circumstances

    Am I defeated
