Met parking SCS claims letter

Hi I’m hoping someone can help

I received Met parking notice 2 years ago. I appealed and contacted Popla and both were rejected.

I contacted both BP and M&S who both advised they could not help.

I then did not hear anything for almost 2 years and out of the blue received a claims letter from SCS law firm. if I do not pay within 30 days court proceeding will start.

I parked in Stansted BP of which I had used for years prior this incident. 2 weeks before I visited new parking signs and charges had been put in place. 30 minutes stay and I stayed for 43 minutes.

I did not see any signs or would i have thought to look for any as I said I had been using the services for years.

My daughter who was 3 at the time spilt juice and was sick so I was then cleaning this up before I left. I also had to clean the car seat of which meant it took longer for me to leave than normal and my daughter was not in her seat so could not drive away immediately.

what should my next steps be...I have read the NEwbies step and think it shoud be SAR letter but just wanted to make sure ....

How much do SCS claim you owe and how do they break the figure down ?

Yes do a SAR to MET and do not imply who was driving in any contact.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

they are saying one value parking for longer than the allowed time, as per signage £175

Well yes, but you KNOW the sign only said £100.

You need to read about the abuse of process. But I've never seen a MET court claim. The fact they want you to contact DRP gives the game away - it's just a threatogram!

Do not contact them apart from getting a SAR.

Max is £100 SO THEY HAVE added a scam charge.

This is abuse of process and as you can see here, one of the dodgy legals got hit by a court recently

Do you have a picture of the sign that says £175 ?

Meanwhile escalate this to senior BP and M&S.
    BP - CEO - robert.dudley@bp.com
    M&S - CEO - steve.rowe@marks-and-spencer.com

Write a lengthy email about how you are a customer who is shocked at how you are being treated by their contractees. Do you have reciepts at hand from the day? - email customer support again, raise this with everyone you possibly can.

I got told by McDonalds on 4 occasions that they cannot solve this for me and to directly contact MET, however after contacting the CEO, he referred my case to someone from their Customer Service whom referred me to the store owner who managed to cancel my ticket upon providing my reciept. - This was also after losing at POPLA

The debt collector, DRP maybe have added a fake £60 to the claim which is not allowed as DJ Taylor who kicked out the BWLegal case because it's abuse of process

There is also a problem for SCS if it goes to court as their signature will confirm a statement of truth ...... clearly it is not
