@Bigbill - Going sick will in this situation not help me moving forward because of the nature of the job. It will probably make things worse.
The issues have started building from 6 months ago but after being pushed into the new position, it's really cranked things up.
I mean, my post about JSA is for the worse case scenario, I hope to land another job as I have always worked !
@tomtom256 - IF I ended up on JSA I would hope it would be for a minimum time anyway, I guess I am trying to assess all my options as I have not been 'jobless' in many many years ...
Should it get to the point of needing to go to the Jobcentre, I will go armed with all my paperwork and 'evidence' to support the situation and hope I get a decent person to speak to ....
@rubyroobs - I nearly acted in haste on April of this year but then told myself to stick at things and it will get better. When my manager said to me on Friday that he doesn't even know if there will be light at the end, it confirmed to me that being there was not going to improve and that my health is more important.
I am making an appt to see my doc as my panic attacks seem to have picked up pace
@Everyone - Thank you so much for all your responses. :A0 -
Go off sick, prosecute a grievance and see what turns up during the process, you may get some form of offer to part company in addition to an agreed reference.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0
