Diamond matt and easy care are essentially the same product. trade paints are designed to be thinned down so the decorator will get say7L from a 5L can. Easy care or Diamond Matt are well worth the extra in my humble opinion, it gets spec'd in most of our school, commercial and hospital projects. There will be alternatives by a different manufacturer and they may be as good but not something I have personal experience ofSome people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!1
