I switched to RBS on 1 March and received £150 incentive on 1 May. It’s a pain paying £1500+ in each month. Is it too soon to switch again?

My wife has similar with Nat West. She switched on 8 Feb and received her £150 on 6 April. Can she also switch?

Last time I checked their T&Cs there was no minimum stay time. Is there now? Have you checked for yourselves?

Why were/are you paying in each month?

I paid in because I understood there was a minimum payment. I can’t find anything in the T&C about staying with them.

Only if you want the extra £50 and use your debit card once/month until August? next year.
You will, no doubt, have to stay until after the £125 has been paid next month.

They've already been paid the incentive...2 months ago.

I can confirm there are two offers, the one that requires £1500 per month with x amount off direct debits is for their Reward account, whereas you can opt for the select account that just requires a deposit and average balance of £1500.
How do you confirm this? I saw no mention of a difference and also no mention of an average.

And if there is to be an average then an average over what timeframe?

Reading this thread people are saying £1500 one time deposit, £1500 per month and £1500 average over an unknown timeframe. Now obviously everyone can't be correct ... who who is and who isn't?

There are many errors in this thread, not just the one you quoted. The T&Cs are extremely clear and concise, which ever account one opens. I'm really not sure why these offers require so much discussion, with the risk of misinformation and guesswork being given?

What i want to know is where it comes from. Take the average for example. Someone somewhere decided to read the T&Cs and then come away with it meaning an average.
    Why?

I don't know what's going on with RBS. I applied once yet i've got 2 cards plus a text message from some unknown saying my application has been rejected (so then that'd be 3 applications, surely?).

My sister has submitted her digidocs ID thing only to then be asked for it again. When she signs in to it today there appears to be 3 applications on the go - yet she only applied once.

Not good. Reminds me of Santander.
