So it does!!! Can't say Drake is usually on my radar.
It seems to be a "standard" Bossa nova. The more you think of it the more you hear it used. See also, Dance Away by Roxy Music.
I did check out the wiki page for the original song, before posting, and it made no reference to any samples, BUT there was one that got sued for copyright, but it must have been for something else, as that beat/style seems universal. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -

I couldn't resist checking again. It's now showing balance of £150, with a "cheque withdrawal" on 25/1/24. So will wait for it to come by post.
But... the cheeky beggers have used this as one of MY allowed withdrawals, and so I can't make another until maturity, unless I close the account!!! Tempted!!
I only made the double payment in error because THEY said the first payment had failed!!!
Not sure if I'll bother adding to it TBH. Was only doing it as a bit of a hedge against Santander dropping the 5.2% rate that I managed to bag on their EA account.
ETA - I have now done that!!!
As an aside, their website doesn't keep you logged in for long, does it. You seem to only have time to do one thing, before it logs you out!! That's annoying in itself.
Anyway, lets see what they say. I could argue that I would lose out of ~£45 of interest if I didn't now max out the account (as I was planning).
£150 for 10 months @ 6% (so roughly 3% on £1500, as its a reg saver)

The cheque came in yesterday's post. I've banked it via app, and hope it's OK as I really don't want to have to go out of my way into town to have to deposit it. That will make me
I seemed to take a clear picture, and it's all legible in review, so fingers crossed. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -
My annual bonus is due next month so, to avoid hitting the 40% tax band and paying more tax on my savings interest, I'll be getting my employer to add it to my pension pot.
I do sal sac below the 40% now but my PPF pension started last March and has added to my income.1
