Well, we've done our last shop of the year, so 2023 spends are now "closed".

    £16,060

And that includes the thick end of £1000 for physio, prescriptions and dental.   The joys of getting older 😲😱

    We're not that old!
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)
  • £16,060 is impressive, SeaShell!   Can I ask, is that to cover spends for 2 adults, or just 1 of you ?

    Very neat.

I always include 'accruals' for things like house repairs, car replacement etc in my accounts even if they have not been spent so I have a better view of expenditure vs income.
