Do you mean 20 000 steps? I can do 2000 steps just round the mansion!Terron said:Best thing about not working for me is that I don't have a routine. If I want to stay in bed reading until afternoon I can. If I want to get up early(ish) I can. I usually go for a walk some time during the day (and am now doing 2,000+ steps a day). If I choose to eat out I can - usually mid afternoon to get a table.

I meant 2000. I mentioned earlier that I have had a problem with my ankle so that is an improvement.Amateurretiree said:

I married little miss chatterbox. I am really suffering with it now in retirement. It's constant. I have requested that she let me know when she is going to say something that I need to listen to.8

Just record yourself saying ' Yes Dear' and download an app than after 3 seconds of silence plays the recorded message. Then pop in your headphones, turn on TMS and away you go.Ibrahim5 said:I married little miss chatterbox. I am really suffering with it now in retirement. It's constant. We had ours the 18th, bloody took long enough, no one our age has to wait so long now, only 8 weeks (we are 60 and 65). I have a sore arm, worse than last time, but do think they used a bigger needle than last.cfw1994 said:Had my 2nd AZ jab yesterday morning: zero issues, which is good!
Boiler? Those old ones might be inefficient, but they can keep on going: good luck!0 -
My other half uses his fitbit in the garden, and he routinely gets very high step numbers as it counts his chopping, clipping etc as steps.Amateurretiree said:

Mind you he used it chopping nettles in a no mans land over the fence and lost it. There's another 75 quid gone, but cheaper than a gardener i guess. He got another from me to replace it this week.0 -
