 Yeah I get your point. I asked them regarding an independent valuation but they said they wont pay for it. Also when it comes to independent valuations an insurance company can still reject it (though it may make my case stronger when FOS/ Ombudsman) reviews it.
 Anyone here has any ideas for the independent valuation charges?
 With regards to supplying evidence I have sent them examples from the adverts from various websites proving their evaluation of my vehicle or similar is way lower than the actual market value. It's been over a week now and I have not heard anything back from their complains department (fingers crossed)0

            Adverts really don't mean that much. Nobody should be be paying the advertised for any used car, private or trade. Therefore not an accurate representation of market value.0
