Hello,
I had a default removed from my credit file today (Equifax). It had only been on there a matter of months, is there a chance this can be re added?
My debt has been passed on, and a payment plan has been put in place but the original plan has been deleted.
Thank you for any help and advice, I am new to the whole credit report thing and find it a big confusion

If it's less than 5 months old and there has been no agreement for it to be removed, then it can be put back on one or all of your files.0

Good Afternoon,
Do you have any idea why the default is being removed early, for example have you registered a complaint in regard to it, or is there some other reason you know of ?
Defaults do sometimes get hidden from view if there is an ongoing dispute about the entry, occasionally they just disapear by themselves, never to return, i had that happen once, with no explanation whatsoever.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I have no idea tbh, I hadn't disputed this in anyway. I just accepted the fact it was on there and arranged a payment plan with the company the debt was passed onto. I have previously contacted the original finance provider but they were not much help and told me to make a payment plan with the new company.PAYDBX 2022 #8 £135.62 / £75000
