Actually posted this under mobile phones thread, but this is probably the right one
Got a Huawei phone on the 1st of May, had to take it back as i thought it was faulty, the battery didn't last very long. was having to charge it twice a day, they wouldn't replace with a different model, even though i offered to pay more, so got the same again,it is doing the same thing, it is ridiculous, and i hate it,it is the worst phone i have ever had
I have rung consumer protection and they advised going back again and telling them the phone isnt fir for purpose, i got it from the o2 shop
I pay £18 a month plus around £3-50 extra for the phone as an upgrade
Any advice please

What model is it and weren't you concerned with all the problems surrounding Huawei and Google?0

There's no risk owning a Huawei phone, it'll still be updated and work as usual.
As with most things in life, pointless scaremongering has got everyone up in arms about nothing.
I don't have a Huawei phone, but I do have a laptop of theirs and I'm not worried (despite having background in network security and administration)0 -
Its a budget phone with poor battery life on a few reviews .
The Y6 2018 is not very economical in terms of power consumption. Our review unit consumes 6.8 W under load, which is around 7% higher than average consumption under load for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 device. In terms of our comparison devices, the Y6 2018 consumes slightly less than the Moto G5s consumes but is significantly more consumptive under load than both the BQ Aquaris VS and the Nokia 2. Strikingly, the Y6 2018 uses around twice the energy at idle than an average of our comparison devices.
