Also if any card provider does want to do a search they will always ask you and it will be in black and white, ones I know are Natwest so assume RBS group and MBNA although now they are under the Lloyds system suspect they don’t. Creation cards are another that do on request but don’t if they auto increase.

I’ve requested a number of increases with Creation Cards and they have never completed a hard search for an increase!0 -
A4445 that’s interesting as on the one occasion I asked and did get the increase they did do a hard search, that was last year.

If I have understood correctly you have a credit card account which was opened in Feb of this year, 5 months ago, which is currently at 80% utilisation and the card issuer has made you a 0% money transfer offer for a period in excess of 18 months with a fee low enough that it would actually be worth your while to make this money transfer for stoozing purposes. You are very fortunate. Which card issuer is it?
I don't want to be critical but much of what you say is confusing. You have paid a fee which will be 'eaten up' within 12 months to make this money transfer for stoozing purposes and yet you are making overpayments on a different 0% card and speak of becoming unsecured debt free by 2020.
I can understand me being confusing  I often confuse myself! I am not very good at the written word! I do apologise.you can be critical all you like sir- any feedback is good feedback! :T I appreciate it.
It's Barclaycard, 1.9% fee, 18 months 0%, the money has been put into a fixed rate bond which returns a better rate for less duration. Worthwhile? perhaps not directly. However, I did it more for timing with my strategy more than the small amount of gain on the stooze...............
To summarise- I wanted the money in this month to carry on a strategy- so it is all down to impatience. I've been putting £x a month in a fixed rate bond, and I was short this month- a mistake- I mis calculated. Now I've done the money transfer deposit to top up that pot, so I can carry on my strategy- and now it looks after itself for a while. I just wanted it done now to put a tick in the box and get it finished. I suppose I'm one of those people who likes to get to a certain aim with something, then look at the next thing to sort out! One thing at a time, even if it does cost me a little.
So yes you are quite right, it does seem strange to stooze that little amount, especially when I've been overpaying another 0% card! The good news is that one will be cleared and forgotten about soon so I can just concentrate on the one remaining card
I hope that made a bit more sense. Thanks again for the feedback. :beer:Pay Off Debts by Xmas 2025 debt £0/74000
