It's going to be way cheaper and much less hassle if you answer the door with a smile and explain that you just moved in. I had debt collectors turn up for a couple of months and one call from the police after a football supporter ban was breached, christmas cards have recently stopped and letters from their pension company still arrive. I've been here 13 years now. I mostly feel bad about the christmas cards because the sender doesn't think to include a return address themselves and I don't have a forwarding address.
We bought a house where the owner had passed away 6 years ago and we still get the xmas cards, same i feel sad they don't know but no way of tracing where to send them back.0 -
Could be just Buyer's Remorse, which will fade https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buyer%27s_remorse
What exactly don't you like about the property? Can it be changed? If it can't be changed, you may get used to whatever it is that bothers you now - and a year from now you will wonder why you were so bothered by it.
Definitely not a good idea to re-sell this soon after buying. Any potential buyers are going to of course wonder why you are moving so fast and either be put-off completely, or think you are desperate and put in low-ball offers.0 -
