Virgin Media Broadband - Help

I'm due to move in to a new home shortly and getting broadband installed ASAP is really important due to work commitments - does anyone know what the current wait times are to have a first installation for Virgin Media? I've tried to figure this out from their website but it seems to want me to actually go through the whole ordering process to figure out installation times and I don't want to do that just yet!

If it's a new build you should check whether it is available.

It's not a new build, I've already checked if it is available and the area can get super fast broadband which is good news!

*EDIT* - Apologies prowla, I now see that in my initial post I've said that I'm moving in to a 'new home'.. my mistake. I didn't mean new build, just a 'new' home for me and my fiance

If you have virgin cables within the house already (they are different to BT) then it should be quick.


Otherwise it could be 2 months+

If it's important for work you really need to consider a business contract with BT perhaps. They'll be able to guarantee installation I'd have thought and if there's any issues you'll have business level CS as opposed to VM's 'have you tried turning it off and back on again'.
