This does not relate to a switch out, I was wondering if anyone has any experience/knowlege of getting compensation e.g 25.00 for this not happening?

Is there anything in their (probably much detailed) "small print" terms and conditions regarding this ? It would be worthwhile if you feel inclined to look at this.
It might be easier to just 'remind' them of it, and ask to be paid promptly , ideally the same day via your bank or such.
Its not an unreasonable request and they have stated up to 28 days. I'm sure if "the boot was on the other foot" and you were a bit late paying something or other they would be quite pleased to remind you of it.
I say that in a positive light, not a negative one.
At the time of writing though are they actually now 'late' ? I highly doubt it means "28 working days" as that's going to be weeks ( ! )0 -
For benefit of topic I did email a complaint to Utility Point on 26th June asking for 25.00 compensation, could only imagine 10.00 being offered. I also asked for 180.00 to be refunded to me including 60.00 previously asked for.

Received no reply so I forwarded the complaint again on 2nd July and received this reply today
Thank you for your email, I apologise for our delayed response.
I am sorry to hear that you did not receive your credit refund in the time frame we advised.
We have spoken to our Accounts Department who will ensure that £180.00 is in your account by the end of today.
I have spoken to our Complaints Team who can offer a gesture of goodwill of £15.00 credit onto the account.
Please confirm if you are happy with this.0
