Nobody is asked to supply more information until the WS stage and it's too early for that yet , these court cases take months , usually several months

I am sure that the OP will return for more help when they get a court order , so it's not there yet , but by all means adapt their defence if you need something similar because it is sufficient at this stage

This is a dispute over money , with a judge deciding , no need to be worried , the worst case is a loss of less than £200 which should be paid within one month if you lose

    Hi Guys,
I put that I am unavailable until the end of Dec for a court date because I have various commitments for charity fundraising. in the meantime, I am looking into gathering information for the WS. I was asked previously by helpful users here to send a SAR to the UKCPM and CPR 13.14 to Gladstones. Can you guys direct me towards any templates that I can use? Many thanks in advance

Hi Amis , I am in a similar situation and wondered whether this defence was sufficient or whether you were asked to provide more information and where your case is now? Any advice would be so helpful as I’m feeling really worried!
Hi Akis2, I hope RedX answered your question but I am more than happy to support you through this if you need my help. Don't give up, there are a high number of successes with the advice you get here.

See the newbies thread post #2

The typical SAR template is the legal beagles one

Plenty of threads on here contain it too

As for gladrags it's probably too late to send them anything under CPR as you have a live Court case

    Hi All,

I have a date for the court which is 6th January. I have until the 22nd of Dec to submit my witness statement. UKCPM has until 9th Dec to pay for the court fee. I have started writing the witness statement so will have something to share with you by end of the week. I had no response to the SAR I sent on 25th of Oct.

thank you for all the support.

    best wishes

Did you enclose proof of identity (V5C for example)? If so send them a reminder, giving them 7 days to respond, otherwise tell them you will be raising a formal complaint with the ICO.

Carry out your threat if no satisfactory reply in 7 days.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

    Hi Umkomaas,
I didn't think I would have to send them a copy of the V5C as proof of identity. I can send a reminder with a copy asking them to reply within 7 days. Should I send it as a recorded delivery?
    thanks

You can try sending a reminder with a copy of your V5C, but I'd leave out the threat of reporting to the ICO as your reminder might (possibly legitimately) be viewed as a new SAR which gives them a 30-day response window.
