Addictive this, I thought I wouldn't come back!!
But as you mentioned the thermostat wire, I thought I'd add my pennies worth again, always aware that people may read this after we've lost interest.
In my initial basic research I came across all the thermostats on the market. It was there that I met the concept of the thermostat wire.
Therefore I should point out that this particular Beko thermostat doesn't have that extension wire that pokes down the side of the fridge.
It's totally self contained within the tiny electronic chip/board. Hence the ease with which I changed it.0
