They looked into it contacted LS who stated you need to contact them. So they have done their job. They can only report what LS state and if LS are not clarifying it then it stands. They won't change it on your say sao. "Hi Experian you've got 2 defaults on my file, I paid them of years ago, honest, please update my file as satisfied" :rotfl:

You obviously didn't read with understanding. Am I asking for a default to be marked as "Satisfied"?

@Modworld - You are chasing the monkey, when you should be going after the organ grinder...

I recommend you contact LS, so that the data they are reporting is amended. They have a duty to report accurate data... :)

    I love my job

In the 4 hrs this post has been running you could have called LS and got this sorted. It baffles me why people need to make life more difficult than it needs to be. Just ring LS and tell them why you think the default date is wrong... simples.

Apologies for misleading. Meant suppress it, not remove it. Then the entire default is not visible to any potential
or current lenders searching your file. This is what happens when you query data with the CRA and they do not receive a response. In this case, the data provider is not confirming the correctness of it. Which is already grounds for above mentioned.

No, I agree it isn't. However, it is their job when you say an item is incorrect.

Suppress it? I still don't follow.
It's either there (and visible) or it's not.

I don't understand what you're hoping to achieve here.

You've contacted Experian as you believe it to be incorrect, and Experian have advised you what to do to resolve the matter.

God forbid when you realise you may have to do the same with Equifax and TransUnion...
