Anyone thinking of depositing more than £100, it takes AA/Bank of Ireland TWO working days for a withdrawal to arrive in your nominated account.0

I'm used to their "speed" as I have Post Office accounts!!!How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0

When I did this cashback offer it took about a month, multiple phone calls and a complaint to get my £100 back. Still they did give me a bit extra as a goodwill gesture.0 -
Many thanks quirkydeptless for the heads up.
Also, you can get the same amount of cashback again by opening an Aldermore easy access account, as long as you're not an existing Aldermore customer. The min deposit there is £1000 and the interest rate is 1.25%, so the opportunity cost is a bit greater, but still easily outweighed by the cashback.0 -
Thanks for this - can you fund directly with BACS with your sort code and account number or do you need to wait for online access first and then fund from within your AA online banking?
* edit answered own question by calling customer services. Just sort code and account number no reference needed if anyone else wondering.0 -

Minimum deposit is £100, interest is 1.43% (includes 1.23% bonus for 1 years)
8 week wait for the cashback.
Account opened.
Thanks for the tip.:money:0 -

I wonder if I can get cash back again?Retired 1st July 2021.
This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."0
