I sold something on Facebook and sent the item 2nd class recorded delivery an hour after they paid (they paid via bank transfer also postage paid on same bank card)
The letter arrived today and they are saying what was in there isn’t there just a piece of paper which I argued was not the case now all they are saying is refund to my bank ASAP before I charge back with my bank
The Total price was 200 via bank transfer what will happen if they make a claim as I have proof I sent it with the receipts which also matches the address they gave as I got it tracked
Any help would be great

Can you clarify - your post seems a bit confusing!I sold something on Facebook and sent the item 2nd class recorded delivery an hour after they paid (they paid via bank transfer also postage paid on same bank card)
So was it bank transfer or card payment? You seem to be saying both? The letter arrived today and they are saying what was in there isn’t there just a piece of paper which I argued was not the case now all they are saying is refund to my bank ASAP before I charge back with my bank.
Letter arrived to you or to them? What wasn't just a piece of paper? Whose bank is needing to refund whom? You seem to be suggesting a refund to yours - but surely it would be to theirs?0 -
Sorry they paid via bank transfer and I. Paid for the postage at the post office on the card they used to bank transfer so it shows on my statement
Also I sent them tickets to a concert and they say only a bit of paper turned up and they are going t claim with there bank to get money back0 -
But I sent them and have postage proof from post office ect just worried as never had a charge back so I don’t want to lose 200 for something I sent0

They're not denying that an envelope arrived, so your proof of posting (or delivery) is irrelevant if the dispute relates to was inside the envelope. You say it was concert tickets, they say it was just blank paper, so it's your word versus theirs, unless you can actually prove that it was tickets that were in there (no idea how you'd do this....)
Exactly I can’t prove what’s it the envelope and neither can they but I have sent the letter and got proof of delivery normally that’s enough with PayPal and I used bank transfer as I thought it was safer as I read here many times0 -
If they raise a chargeback then they probably ill succeed as the bank will likely believe them
one thing you can do is contact the company you bought the ticket from and reported as stolen and get it cancelled and hopefully reissued to you.0 -
Ok unless I am going to see no I did not think you could chargeback a bank transfer that applies to debit and credit cards only0

A bank transfer does not use a bank card. It is done bank to bank , online.

If it was paid by debit card it is not a bank transfer but a debit card payment which can be used for a chargeback.0
