Include signage, as the deep alluded to

Nobody cares how far away it is, put them to strict proof, you will see signage in their evidence pack when you get it, but you must include it regardless

Google maps may also show pictures of the signage, it's the signage that forms the contract and I doubt the signage here matches the Beavis case

Also include any pofa failures and BPA Cop failures too

Ermmm, I don't know how to post a picture, but I've googled the car park, Mecca Bingo Wood Green and Google maps doesn't allow you 'in', I would post the pic if I could to show you what I mean..

I've also googled other forums to see if I could nab theirs, and nada

Ok, so question it anyway and you will get them in the evidence pack from popla

Only a fool excludes signage , regardless of distance

You put them to strict proof on the following

    Landowner authority
    Signage
    Pofa compliance
    BPA Cop compliance
    Anpr

The laws such as the CRA 2015

    Etc

    1) exorbitant fine , no chance due to the Beavis case , the sign told the driver what the daily default tariff was, likely to be £85 to £100 , only discounted if the driver followed the rules

The Supreme court agreed with £85 in the Beavis case

    2) POFA is your guide and the issue date of the PCN, plus 2 days for normal delivery is your guide on compliance, plus if the POFA paragraph is on the back of the PCN NTK then it's likely that they complied with POFA

In post #18, you said that a letter dated 16 July from PE provided you with a POPLA code. If that's the case you would seem to have missed your POPLA deadline (maximum of 32 days after code issue).

    Check your code out here:

I agree, lack of dealing with the letters promptly means your popla code has expired

This is a classic case of his not to go about appealing a PCN , timekeeping being the major issue on the Day and also in opening and reading the letters

I expect you will receive an LBCCC next

Dang, even by that post I had missed it by 2 days. I've contacted PE again telling them to either give me another code or drop the whole thing. The letter didn't state how long the code is for. Anyway, I'll have the appeal primed in case they provide another one. If not, I'll just roll over I guess. Thank you for pointing that out though

I can assure you they won't issue another popla code , nor will they drop it either

    I'm afraid they'll do neither.

Recheck it, they normally quote the standard 28 days (but we know that that stretches to 32 days).

I haven't gone back over the entire thread, but on whose car park was this PCN incurred?
If not, I'll just roll over I guess.
At this stage that would be foolhardy and premature. You need to see what PE's next move is. Some car park landowners refuse to allow PE to sue their customers in the court.

    Be patient.

    1. They didn't mention a time frame in the letter the sent from themselves. However there was another piece of paper saying I must do so within 28 days of the date of the operators notice of rejection (which was actually received in March), this letter is not a notice of rejection

    2. It was Mecca Bingo's carpark, I've contacted them several times and they are being most difficult. I've not heard back from their head office, I've sent another email.

    3. I meant if every effort fails, I'll just pay it, however I will definitely see it through to the end

No point No. 1 - should that be for the signage?.
