Benefit cap?

Hi i have recieved a letter today saying there has been a change in my benefits and a benefit cap has been imposed on my claim resulting in a reduction in housing benefit and for me to fill out a form.
However my benefits havent changed or not that im aware of? I got my usual payments last week. Anyone know what this would be?

What benefits are you on ? Are you waiting on the decision for a health assessment or anything?

Another thread of yours says you're claiming Income Support, Tax credits and housing benefit. What other benefits do you receive? what's the reason you're claiming Income Support?

See link about the benefit cap. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/help/benefits-cap

If there is no obvious answer, you might have to call the DWP and ask them what has changed.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

None of those benefits will exclude you from the benefit cap. I'm surprised you weren't already affected by the cap. Please see the link i provided above.

What's the reason why you're claiming Income Support? Do you have a child under 5?

Could this be anything to do with your posts from a couple of weeks ago?

You're not a single parent though. You are in a relationship with all your children father. That's not being single. Why have you had numerous children with him but not move in together unless it is so that you could claim all benefits as a single mother?

You are arguably not a single parent as you are still in a relationship with the father of your children who often works away.

Have you had your compliance interview yet?

Yes i have a 3 year old. Yes i had the interview heard nothing since so surely i should of been made aware if there was changes made to my benefit? As you will no from my previous posts i was not aware that being in a relationship and living at different addresses meant i shouldnt be entitled to income support. Im only asking for advice on here not some judgemental people asking why i dont live with him that is absoutely none of your business. Im only asking what this letter means as income support have not made me aware of any changes.
