Can I leave my sim with my partner?

I will be abroad for an year in a non-eu country and receiving calls on my number will be very expensive as I will be on international roaming. I understand many countries have cheaper rates but my country is not in any of these lists.
I may need to receive calls or texts on my mobile from work colleagues, bank transactions etc. I would like my partner to sort this out and he can always pass on the messages to me.
I am wondering will there be any issues with it?

Probably not from a mobile POV if you're happy for them to have all the relevant details.
How will work view passing on calls and messages via a third party? Would it not be better if they emailed you directly? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I can't see the bank dealing with your partner for one.0 -
Not a problem or anything. Unless your partner misses to forward an important message/email... that's gonna be the problem. I suggest for more serious matters like bank transactions and work stuff that he should ALWAYS forward the message to you ASAP.0

The OP could always get the partner added as a person to speak to regarding the account.0
