Everything you need to know about how to appeal to POPLA is detailed for you in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #3.

When does your POPLA appeal deadline expire?

What exactly did you say to PE in your initial appeal to them - copy and paste it here so we can see what you've said and what options then remain open to you.

Why are you talking about POPLA, when you've seemingly not tried the easy (can be cancellation on the spot) route of complaint to the retailer/hospital or landowner on site?

  • Hello

Parking eye have emailed today stating our appeal was unsuccessful and so we have 14 days from today to pay the reduced £60

I haven't yet logged an appeal with POPLAR

On the original appeal to parking eye I explained that o had just left the hospital with my son which was just around the corner, my mum rang because she knew we had just left hospital so I pulled into the car park and took her call. We were in the car park for 12 mins and then I got the notice cane through

Am just not sure if we should appeal further and risk paying the higher £100 at a later date??

Where in my post, did I say to appeal further or pay? I said to do what this person did:

Do not pay them a penny unless a jdge orders you to.

IMO, PE signs leave much to be desired. I doubt that many judges would agree that they are capable of forming a contract, read this

and enlist the support of your MP as they are obviously trying to scam you.

Nine out of ten of these so called breaches of contract are scams

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, and persistent offenders denied access. Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers.

Until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.
