EasyJet Flexi - what to do when the best return is BEFORE the departure date?

Options
Hi all

Is anyone familiar with this situation? I want to use the EasyJet Flexi trick and book some tickets for the wrong dates, then change them to the correct dates 24 hours later. The trouble is that the return date is a couple of weeks before the departure date.

I can get around this by booking them as two separate flights/bookings rather than a normal return. But is there any potential problem or anything to be aware of if I book them separately like that?

Many thanks

Yes, you can book one-way flights, they are 'stand alone' and have no effect on each other. I never book return on easyJet.

I didn't know you could book return flights on Easyjet. I thought ALL flights were standalone one way.

If you book seperately you will pay £15 fees for each booking

    Great, that's good to hear.

I think it's one of the very first things they ask you - whether you are looking for a return or one-way ticket.

Ah yes, I should have thought about that. Thanks for reminding me. Regardless, it will still work out a lot cheaper doing that then buying standard tickets on the actual date. Still a bummer though!

Many thanks for the helpful replies.

Yes but you still book 2 single standalone flights that are not connected. It just means that they are booked in a single transaction. They each have their own tickets.

It's not a return ticket in the normal sense

Ah yes, I see what you're saying. I didn't think of it like that!
  • It's also worth knowing that you can book to fly to one airport and then book the return flight from a different airport all on the same booking.
