Tie Down / D Ring - How to attach to vehicle
Comments
-
You're overloading them with the ratchet strap. You could make them stronger but then risk damaging the body work or whatever you are carrying. Learn when to stop tightening them.Naturally these hooks are designed to carry lighter loads.0 -
Probably overkill on the straps,
Should have stopped as soon as they started bending.
A correctly placed 70kg loads won't move except in a crash or on wheels.
how big are they what options on sitting them in the vehicle
Vehicles also have good anchor point for seat belts and child seats designed for very high loadings.0 -
Looks like the OP needs a van designed for cargo, not a passenger car with lightweight tie-down points intended for the occasional suitcase.0

Thanks for your help guys0
