    Hi

I’m on holiday in Spain with my Halifax Clarity credit card.

There are two ATMs in the resort- one run by Euronet and one by Telebanco. I’m struggling to work out the charges for cash withdrawals (ie what each will cost and which is cheapest) because I’m useless using the internet on my tiny phone!

Does anyone happen to know? Thanks in advance if so
Not sure if anyone directly answered this. I got caught in Poland by Euronet. They are the only machines you will see in many busy, especially tourist zones there.

1st attempt with a Clarity card and I was presented with a crippling exchange rate. Thought, that's odd, in tens of previous ATM transactions abroad I've always withdrawn in local currency at the Clarity 'perfect' rate, so declined, expecting another option to appear to use my own banks rate. Instead, card ejected.

Since there were no other machines to be found within km at that time of night I tried again and accepted. The PLN I withdrew cost 20% over the odds inc a £4 transaction fee. Fortunately I'd only withdrawn about £100 worth.

The rest of my entire trip was done paying by Clarity in local currency, using cash only for tips and paying rare cash-only businesses.
