Update: My august statement balance was indeed £1172.66. I made manual payments to make a total of £1167.66:OceanSound wrote: ».....
So my next statement on 24 August should say the same.
I had a balance of £0.00 in July, so in effect no statement was produced. But have since done some spending amounting to £1172.66. The 24 August statement should show £1172.66 as the balance.
If I pay £1000.00 by debit card 3 working days before the next payment due date, would the DD payment be automatically adjusted to take only £172.66?
Anyone have any experience with this scenario? THe letter I received does say:
14 Sep 2019 - £600.00
15 Sep 2019 - £362.66
15 Sep 2019 - £200.00
16 Sep 2019 - £5.00
On 19 Sep 2019 a DD payment for £5.00 was collected. So I effectively cleared my statemented balance.0
