That's a whole month away. Loads of time to produce a perfect Defence, but don't leave it to the last minute.

Exactly, nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

In answer to your question though, It’s Shoreham Port, just by Hove Lagoon, outside the Shutterly Fabulous office. With everything said, and looking at the sign itself, would you agree best angle of defence is poor signage along with abuse of process?

That sign ... what a lot of cr*p from GXS Services.

It may form a contract for £100 but there is no contract for an unknown amount they claim will be added.
This is just typical of the scam set up, the IPC

No doubt they refer to the £60 scam add-on

BWLegal got whooped for abuse of process, now we must make sure the incompetent Gladstones get the picture as well

No parking on double yellow lines, hatched areas, or outside of a marked bay.

One argument in defence is that line prohibits parking, not allowing it by way of a licence at a cost. There is nothing about that sign that tells a driver they are entering into a contract by using roadway double yellows, which do not have the meaning 'no stopping' in the Highway Code or TMA 2004.

If that sign is to be believed they'd also fine people for parking there using a Blue Badge or dropping people off, or loading/unloading, because they do not understand what double yellows really mean.
