Tax CCJ

Options
CCJ from HMRC fell off my file a few years ago.

I was never approached to pay it and didn’t, only a few grand.

Likelihood of them still coming after it?

HMRC have plenty of options and are not limited to court-based ones.

If all else fails they'll deduct it from your state pension.

We all pay income tax, what makes you think you shouldn't

Bit cheeky asking us taxpayers how to actually help you get away with not paying it...

I know its a money saving site, but really....

No ones asking you to pay it.

No ones asking who to pay what? Income tax?

No only the government and the law that’s all :j
  • They (HMRC) will get it one way or another.

Close to 100%, and they have a variety of routes to use.

Why not just pay so that you can move on?

Well, except for HMRC to whom most of us pay what we need to. We all have to pay extra to subsidise people like you. It’s not complex, I genuinely can’t understand how you can’t get this.

I’ve just read some of your other posts and wish that I hadn’t replied to someone who’s clearly just a wind-up merchant.

Fortunately, paying my tax abroad nowadays I can take a bit pleasure from not subsidising families like yours any more.

I will wait until/if they approach me.

Surely they have to give a valid reason to the courts why it’s not been pursued before?
