Hi,
I am just going through purchasing a property, but my solicitor is still waiting for one outstanding query from the sellers solicitors which is:
"We currently await, section 33 agreements as per the Local Search or written confirmation from the Local Authority that they no are no longer in effect together with a response from RMG in respect of our enquiry relating to the assessment risk carried out."
Does anybody know what this is?
Thanks

Probably your solicitor/seller's solicitor seeking assurance that the current tenants in the property you are buying will be vacant by the time you come to completion."If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett

More likely to be section 33 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982:

but really I would be contacting your solicitor and asking them why the hell they thought you'd know which "section 33" they were talking about.0
