It was a painful/ stressful journey, which when started , we were not sure whether and when it will be complete.
It's not easy for anyone to avoid the stress and pain. Even being buying new doesn't guarantee a smooth purchase or ownership experience.

Our last move was so fraught and off-the-wall, it was a few years before I was satisfied we'd done the right thing....If you get adventurous, it can be like marrying a partner you barely know!

Anyway, have fun in your new home and cancel that Rightmove alert! :D

Glad you have completed, and don't panic if you get a bout of 'buyer's remorse' or collywobbles generally at some point. That's just normal. Once you move in and make it yours, that goes away.

[We're working on a doer-upper, and so in theory we have 2 houses, right now neither feels like ours- one isn't ours 'yet' (can't move much in until the sparkies have been in so are just about camping out when we're there) and the other we're redecorating for sale, so not in the way we had/would have it, so that doesn't really feel like ours either any more. Feeling a bit lost at the moment home-wise.:( ]
