Ariston E-Combi Boiler failing to fire

My Ariston E-Combi boiler is failiing to start for either heating or hot water. It makes several attempts to start and then needs resetting. It was eventually starting after multiple resets but now is not starting at all.

The error code lights indicate - "1st fire failed", "2nd fire failed", "Flame cut off", "Flame Lift".

I will be getting an engineer out to look at it, but would appreciate any advice or opinions about what the problem could be and whether I should expect it to be repairable or the boiler need replacing. I don't know how old the boiler is, I bought the house 2 years ago.

Could be any number of things, unless the code he gets is very clear what it is, its a case of the engineer checking each part to eliminate it. And then how much that part is vs a new boiler.
