Let me know the result. I had to guess that you had Windows Home Premium 64 bit installed.

If you do, check your PMs again.

The links you pmd me didnt open, I tried to downlaod myself after entering prodcut key but I got this message like before...

Would it be easier to buy windows from somewhere ?

    Error

The product key you've entered appears to be for software which was pre-installed by the device manufacturer. Please contact the device manufacturer for software recovery options.

I honestly haven't the slightest idea of what you are doing.

The link is here; http://the-eye.eu/public/MSDN/Windows%207/ under en_windows_7_home_premium_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_676549.iso and works fine.

Why are you entering a Product key for a Repair Install? Forget about that step. Just create the installation media using a DVD and Windows 7 Image burner and go straight to step number 5(skip step 15)

Not sure you've been completely clear here, so - OP needs to click 'I don't have a Product Key' when asked during installation. Windows will install, and once installed, attempt to activate using your computer information, rather than an actual key.

No, that is not necessarily how it will work. But we can cross that bridge if we get to it. So just skip the entering of a key.

No need to wipe the SSD. Just back up your data and use the Sony re-installation media now in your Inbox to clean install Windows 7 to the laptop.

    https://pcdestination.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001025212-Windows-7-Clean-Install-

Once you have created the installation media, place the DVD or USB Flash drive into the optical drive or USB slot and restart the device. Press the F11 key as soon as it begins to restart, in order to get the choice of booting from the re-installation media.

If you don't manage to press F11 key in time. Just turn it off and start it again until you get it right

You won't need to enter a product key and it will read the licence stored on the laptop's motherboard and auto-activate.

It is a direct download via a Browser. There is no App thing, unless you choose to use the Desktop App. Just click Download and allow the Browser to download the image.

Try to actually reply to the questions that I ask. For instance, post #24.
