Extra Energy final bill - how to pay

:(:(:(:( We have still not received our final bill probably because they owe us in excess of £1k. have e-mail from extra energy where they agreed to repay £900 but we were in the process of moving to bulb so foolishly thought it would all be sorted out, needless to say nearly 12 months later and still not paid. have phoned several times still no where and ombudsmen cannot even be bothered to get in touch. Really need the money now as husband has had a stoke and lost his job and is now waiting for a heart operation. very frustrated
Have been in contact on facebook and threatened court action

So that didn't work! I promised to update the thread with any news.

I waited for the 17 days, and then a couple more and no sign of the money going out by direct debit.

Then I received both an email and paper letter with final demand wording on them.

So I decided to cancel the dd with my bank before ringing them up, just in case.

First question they asked - is dd still live? Er.. no I've cancelled it now.....

Tried to pay on one credit card, declined. So used another, accepted.

Hope that's the end of it now, time will tell I suppose.
