Cheapest Method of Cleaning Carpet?

Hello,
My carpet really needs a thorough clean, a clean that I would then continue to do on a regular basis. My carpet has some very faint stain patches on (juice maybe), mild hair dye stains, and the worst being paint stains. What would be the most economically feasible way to get rid of all these stains and then carry out a regular maintenance clean?
Thanks
Steve

Hair dye? I think you may as well get a new carpet, and be careful in future.0

I would suggest you review whether there is a Stain Devil product available at:
https://www.dr-beckmann.co.uk/how-to-remove-stains/
It says to contact them if you have a stain they don't have a product for. I couldn't see one for hair dye, so you may need to call them.
You will need to know what fibres the carpet is made from.
For general cleaning, regular hoovering and then cleaning with a carpet cleaner from a company like Vax or Bissell would help keep it clean. Buying a carpet cleaner is usually only required when you have pets, or some other problem, such as a spouse who lives to trail mud in from the garden...
You can hire carpet cleaners, but if you intend to use it more than three times a year, buying your own is probably going to save money. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -

Options.
(a) new carpet the same colour that your girlfriend dyes her hair; or
(b) new girlfriend who dyes her hair the same colour as your carpet."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -
Hire a Rug Doctor from your nearest supermarket/ stockist.
£40 for a few days and a few quid for cleaning solution.0 -
King132 beat me to it! The Rug Doctor offers an effective deep carpet cleaning service at an affordable price.
RE: hair dye, I once used Cillit Bang to get pink hair dye out of a cream carpet but it depends on what colour your carpet is I guess. Good luck!0 -
@tacport I don't know what my carpet is made from. And the site does not appear to have the option of either hair dye.0

Buy several packs of hair dye, and do the whole carpet. Then you won't notice your girlfriend's carelessness.0
