May not even be the sorting office staff that have light fingers. Has anyone ever seen how fast some of the Royal Mail (RM) lorries are driven. All because RM staff want to deliver fast and efficiently:

Fact is when lorries are driven at that speed, items may fall off the back. If you want someone to blame, how about blame the lorry door designers.0 -

RM HGV drivers? No more pressure on them than any other UK HGV driver.
Either a dodgy lock or a driver simply not doing their required checks0 -
If the pack was thin enough to be going through automated sorting (25mm is plenty) then the samples might be squeezed out in the process? The envelope would still be sorted automatically but the samples would be undeliverable.
I've heard of someone who cuts all the stamps from undeliverable envelopes at one sorting office to donate to a charity. He'd probably put your samples in with these!!
I'm just hoping he also includes all the unpostmarked stamps because I've bought a load of them from the charity and don't want anything left out.0 -
....
Anyone know if the sender can be identified from the number given on these labels? Any ideas?...
A batch of £26.00 (November 2018) and a batch of £2.00 (February 2019) Marks and Spencer (M&S) vouchers sent to me by M&S bank were quite clearly lifted by RM staff. How do I know this?
I've been receiving other mail without issue (except the usual problems with the redirection service where mail end up at old address or other house members mail end up at my new address).
Reported it to Police, M&s bank, and Royal Mail. Not confident at all that RM will do anything about it. In fact, I bet good money that the next batch of vouchers due to be sent in August will also be nicely sorted in to an RM staff member's pocket.
Seems working for RM is a nice little earner. Especially the perks (M&S Vouchers). Needless to say, your post isn't delivered by any any old delivery service. This is Royal Mail delivery.0 -
A CLEANER at the Royal Mail’s Flint delivery office was caught “red-handed” stealing mail containing gift cards, a court was told:

I see you are on a little mission here.
Do M&S post directly with RM?
Lets not skip over all these 'stolen' items that turn out to be poorly packaged/poorly addressed etc etc.
Spend some time in a mail centre and see all the random/loose items that appear in the 'hoods' that have come out of random packets.
Would you like to pick a large employer at random and we can play find the criminal case?0 -

You call under 5K large?
RM has more than that in Edinburgh alone.0
