How much suncream for 2 weeks?

Hiya!
I'd like to buy all the sunscreen I need for a family of 4 going to Greece this July.
We use all day sunscreens like p20 as have never burned.
How many bottles should I buy for a family of 2 adults 2 children?
I thought one each might not be enough.
Ideally I'd like to avoid buying any more at resort.
Thank you!

How long are you going for?

A 200ml bottle has always been enough for a week per person i have found.

Hi, if they have it in your local Aldi, I've been using Calypso once a day the last few years. It goes on a bit like an antibacterial handwash, rather than a greasy cream. They have factor 30, which may be enough for you, it did us fine for 2 weeks in Sri Lanka in November.

I generally take a bottle each for me and my husband (a f30 and a f15), but with kids I'd still maybe top up shoulders in the afternoon, rather than just once a day - as they'll be in and out of the pool/sea probably. Just be careful not to put too much above eyes, as if you sweat it stings when it gets in your eyes!

Nobody can really answer this because nobody knows how fat you are, or how fat you aren't.

    I never understand this.

Suncream is sold in other countries.

Last year somewhere in the Midlands, it turned out three of us had the same stuff, except mine had German writing on it.

With respect - but how does going AI affect the amount of suncream needed ?

Whether leaving the resort us a viable option as we are aware it is off the beaten track We don't particularly want to pay resort prices for sunscreen if we can help it.

Why 'once-a-day' sun creams don't work

With that said, correctly for suncream:

35mls per dose (adult) (as per WHO)
Child, depending on age, body surface area would suggest 25mls per dose
Applying every 2 hours and after swimming, assume therefore applying six times per day
Assuming using every day of the 14 days
    2 adults, 2 chldren

    = ((35x6)x2 + (25x6)x2) x 14
    = 10,080 mls = 10 litres = 50 x 200ml bottles
