As well as missing LW, I hope Round is ok too.
Aww thank you for thinking of me Fayolle :heartsmil xx
I'm here lurking and cheering you all on from the sidelines :T I need to re-ignite my flylady 'ooomph' before I disappear under the mess.
I've made the bed, fed the birds, been to work, visited Dad, cooked tea and eaten it, then flumped.
Anyone else go to bed last night and wake up in November?
Hugs

So fed up of this weather! It’s cold and horrid, definitely more like November than June!
Slept well last night... I was SO tired! Feel a bit more human than usual this morning so it must have done me good.
WM swishing, probably yet another day of drying indoors.
Dishes put away.
Breakfast next then will shower and do dailies before starting paid stuff.
Kitchen Kapers.... my oven REALLY needs doing and I promised I would do it, however, I am not sure if I have time today, let’s see how it goes... rest of the kitchen doesn’t look too bad.
Right, time to shake a tail feather!
Have a good day all0 -
Morning all, quick one from me. Showered, dressed, bedside made and we are leaving soon. DD has a school trip to the seaside today, rather her than me in this weather! DW is unloaded, WM is on, it's all tidy.
Have fab days all x0 -
Morning all,
Up, showered, dressed, bed made and bathroom wiped down. Just having coffee before I go to work. All day today but it is the last day with the kids so having parents in to see what we do with them. Will be glad when it's over!
I think this flying laark might actually be working, DD2 has unpacked all her stuff and put it away and tidied the last few bits in her bathroom (we had been using it whilst ours was being redone). She has also cleared the table after eating each time and stuff is making it into the DW.
Better move whilst I'm felling motivated, WM to load and makeup to put on before Igo to work.
Have a nice day.0 -
Morning
Sparkly line and start again.....
I've been cold at work for two days - so I'm wearing a jumper today! I've woken up tired, which isn't the best of starts to the first day of the rest of my life but you have to work with what you've got ….
I'm ready for work, including pack up. Bed is made. I'm going to feed the birds, put out the rubbish and get petrol on my way to work. I'll pay the rent on the way home. Bins will need putting out this evening.
I will [STRIKE]survive[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]make it through the day[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]go back to bed because I'm tired[/STRIKE], go now.
Have a good day my friends

Kettle has just blown up.

Dailies done, tidied bedroom and lounge, litter trays cleaned and refreshed. Morning of paid stuff done.
Just did a bin bag dance while I waited for my leftovers to reheat in the microwave for lunch.
I agree, this flying lark really does seem to work... just a few minutes here and there plus dailies and a focus on a room every day seems to making such a difference. I am really liking the way my house looks at the moment. Still some way from a show home (which I wouldn’t want anyway!) but definitely more of a home than a hovel....
Thank you to all for your support. Have a good afternoon0 -
Hi everyone - the proverbial bad penny returns for a quick visit.Honey_Bear wrote: »Today I realised that there are very few photographs of people from the past that have given me a lovely feeling of, 'Ahhhh' when I see them. However, there are a lot of animal photographs that really do mean something to me, and it's rammed home how much I am not really a people person. It's a relief to finally know it, be able to acknowledge it and accept it. I don't want to forget the past or the people, but I do want to feel less bogged down and ensnared by it.
It's why decluttering gets harder. As all the easy stuff - like too many saucepans - is finished one is left with the emotional stuff. After a week of allowing myself to take it at the pace at which I can function, incredibly cathartic. I've been joking that I find being around animals a lot easier than people for years - turns out it was true.As well as missing LW, I hope Round is ok too.
I am having to be behind Mr Wolf and checking any tasks he does for completeness. For instance, he usually volunteers to wash up, but I'm finding the next time I want to use an item he's washed, it's not been properly cleaned, so I have to stop and re-wash it before I can use it. I's doubly distressing because he used to be so fastidious.
We're very busy with the dogs (which is a GOOD thing) - I am nearly completely booked right up to the beginning of November! Our current guests are a whippet and a whippet/border collie cross, the same ones who stayed over last New Year.
I haven't read back over what I've missed, so I hope everyone is as well as can be, and life isn't being too much of a PITA.
Must crack on; I've just been informed we're nearly out of bread, so I'd better go and put the BM on.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
