Hi,
My parents ordered a kitchen and got their own installers.
3/4 of the way through I have noticed its the wrong kitchen. I believe the lady that put the order through, ordered the wrong one, but at the time of paying, we didnt know as we showed the lady the one we wanted in the showroom.
Any advise?
Thanks in advance.

Install the remaining 1/4. It's obviously close enough to what your parents ordered that they're happy with it.
Having accepted delivery and installed 3/4 of it, I think your parents have lost any opportunity to reject it.
The only thing they can do is check whether they have paid the correct amount for what was actually supplied.
Are you/they sure it's not just different handles to the ones in the showroom?A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

You're going to have a couple of difficulties. Firstly, if they dispute which you showed them and which was ordered, what evidence do you have of your decision? Secondly, 3/4 of the way through is very late in the process to realise it's the wrong one. What's wrong about it? If you're lucky, have they only installed the carcasses and now you've noticed the fronts are wrong? If so, you may be allowed to swap unwrapped and untouched fronts and fit the ones you want to the carcasses if they're the same.
There's not a lot you can do if things have been unpacked, cut to size, fitted, etc.0 -
What does it actually say on the paperwork from when you placed the order? Does what's been paid for and what's been delivered match up? If so it's going to be really difficult to prove any wrongdoing on Wickes behalf.
What's the difference? I assume it can't be significant if it wasn't noticed until 75% through installation. Is it something that could be remedied by swapping out doors or ordering a new worksuface for example?
As said, it is likely to be hard to prove an error by Wickes if paperwork all matches up so it may depend how much it matters to your parents to as to whether they whish to pay out more to remedy.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Wickes and kitchens. OH MY GOD, we had a nightmare with ours. Four large cupboards were missing, the sink was cracked
We had booked that week off work to get the kitchen fitted, and booked kitchen fitters for that week.
It took them three weeks to send out the parts we needed.
Absolutely furious, they should have sent them out that day, we were paying labourers to stand around and wasting holiday days
Wickes are pantsThe opposite of what you know...is also true0
