Currys: claiming cashback on a purchase

As you didn't take any screenshot you are going to struggle to prove that it was advertised as having cashback offered a full month and a half after the promotion had actually ended (the promo actually ended on June 18th with claims able to be made until July 30th). If it was in store I could understand a bit of promo material being left out by mistake but you talk about online and screenshots and it is far less likely that the promo has been left up that long after closing without being flagged up on the website.
If this is an item you have been looking at and researching for a while it could be you're device automatically taking you to a cached version of the page which will account for you thinking it was still running when it wasn't.
There were only two hotpoint ovens that were part of the promo that had £100 cashback and looking at archived pages the one didn't have the cashback offered on July 18th and the same for the other on July 15th.0 -
Thanks for the responses and feedback.
Good point around the cached page info but on the timing front, I only started looking at the appliance on the 29th of July as I'd used one at the holiday let we'd been staying at until the 28th so this was my prompt to first visit the web, prior to that I can safely say I have never looked for a Hotpoint pyrolytic oven in my life. Did a bit of price comparison across the electrical sites on the 30th then ordered from Currys on the 1st Aug. So even on the 29th the ad was there well over a month after it was essentially non-redeemable not just a day or two which I could kind of understand.
Anyway, no big deal I have no proof but I know what I saw and when I saw it. It seems knowing when the ad was or was not removed would be an easy defence for Currys to use and one which I could grudgingly accept. I just find it slightly strange that they have never said the ad was removed on this date etc. etc. so sorry Mr X it can't possibly have been there when you ordered? Then again neither have Hotpoint which again would be an easy and conclusive statement to make "Our promo ended on the 18th June, Currys did (or didn't) drop the ball on removing the promo in a timely manner, sorry but go away"
Just a little tired of the 'Get Hotpoint to sort it, Get Currys to sort it' death spiral 'we' are in currently.
Anyway, thanks again but close to drawing a line under it and chalking it up to experience, fool me once and all that.... On the bright side, the appliance is now currently retailing for significantly more than I paid for it anyway - 449 vs 279. Quite a hefty uplift to be fair and I'm sure nothing to do with the 'trade-in' deal currently running? :A

I'm in exactly the same situation. I bought 2 ovens in separate transactions on 11th august 2019 and set a calendar reminder for the claim window which is now. Can't find details anywhere online about how to claim.0

Is this it for ovens

I've had the same problem. Claiming my cashback on a multifunction Hot Point Oven. I read the instructions and uploaded a Jpeg of the receipt as it would not accept a PDF copy. The web portal used, kept timing out. My cashback was done within the time frame suggested. Whilst uploading I attempted sending the receipt over 5 or 6 times. No cashback has ever been received. I'm now waiting for them to resolve this.0
