You need the longer Statement of Truth (ask Auntie Google) or look at the latest defences and witness statement posted on the forum.  For the cases you have appended as evidence, just pick out the relevant parts and say: -
"As per the judgment/evidence/whatever* in Pace v Mr N, this is equal to my situation and therefore ......."

*Strike out whichever does not apply.

    Thanks @Le_Kirk!

I have updated my witness statement and updated my index page with more relevant documents.
Could you take a quick look through to see if my wording is okay and I have included everything I need?

I also attach my costs schedule. My partner will be attending with me to speak on my behalf, can I include an extra £95 to include his loss of leave too?

    Thanks!

    No.

    No.
    Thanks.

I assume no other criticisms in my witness statement?
I will look to submit this in the next few days. Is email fine or do I have to print out for the court/claimant?

    Thanks,

You need to submit to the court exactly how you were told to notice of allocation or court order and claimant as per their address for documents (should be on the claim form) however, if they have corresponded with you by e-mail then it is fine to use that.

    Thanks @Le_Kirk

I just received a letter from BW legal stating that they now realise I am a resident and would like proof of this. Seeing as my court date is less than a month away, should I respond to them? I'm not sure if this means they may back out of the case and I won't need to go to court instead.

    Thanks,

I don't see any reason why not. What level of 'proof' are they seeking?

A utility bill will suffice and if there is a lease involved, that you will show a judge.

You should file and serve a supplementary WS with the proof, so the court gets it too.

    Thanks all,
I have now received their witness statement and have sent mine to them and the court so all will go ahead on 3 Dec. Just wondering, I am prepping this on behalf of my partner who is the defendant. Am I allowed to go in and speak on her behalf or is there some sort of process I have to follow in order to do so?
