Happy Monday All,
What a lovely week off that was- picked a great week with the weather. I managed to avoid all work stuff (yay to me - 1st time in a long time) I mainly spent it sorting out house stuff (packing) but have made some great progress with it. Also had a pretty good weekend, a long trip to Southampton for the footie with the lads which was a great day out and then yesterday brunch with the girls which was nice.
Just sat with a cuppa and reconciling YNAB which I have now managed to get back up to date and this is keeping me on track really well so plan to update daily. The transactions at the minute are linked as it forces me to update the transactions daily which was my downfall I think, so will see how that goes.
Football Spends came out of own personal spends and wasn't too bad
Family Treats Pot covered brunch and a few drinks - budgeted
House Moving Category took a beating this weekend though- Moving Boxes & some DIY supplies to fix some of the odd jobs I had put off ) There was money to cover it but hate seeing it decrease haha.
Back in to work today and for the 1st time after an holiday I managed to get a decent sleep last night, normally I don't as I get a bit anxious of what I am walking into as no-one does my job when I am not there.
Hope everyone had a great weekend and here's to another weekDays to Orlando: 516 - ☀️0 -

Another month comes to an end. It has been another pretty crazy month and another month of me not feeling 100 percent myself, however it has ended on a good note....we have finally found a new property to rent
. I am hoping this is one less stress for me to worry about and hopefully I can start feeling a lot less anxious. The rent is a little bit more and its a little further out than we would ideally like to have been, but ultimately its an house that we both loved and although its a bus ride (10 or so mins) for the little one's school this feels like a good move. The bond and 1st month rent we already have saved and ready to give the new landlady when we move in. We have a month left in our current property so its going to be a busy few weeks getting stuff transported but i am excited for the new house and next step on our journey.
I need to re-jig the budget a little as its £275 more than our current place but there is plenty of movement within the budget so not too concerned, the council tax is same banding as well so that should't be an issue. I have a week off next week already planned so this should give us the best chance to get most stuff moved in. Unsure whether just to move our stuff in gradually or pay a man with van to move everything at once
Budget wise everything is going okay with not too many hiccups so that is positive. Hope everyone is doing goodDays to Orlando: 516 - ☀️1 -
So pleased you've found a new home, hope the move goes smoothly x1

if you get someone in, get a professional company - unknown man with a van will probable quote cheaper per hour but then use way more hours. if you know someone who wont play games go for it - after a while at a property you will have way more stuff than you think. start decluttering now rather than take it withI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

- we have a decent amount of time to transition into new place, so hopefully should be no hiccups. I am not looking forward to all the new home admin though haha. I am just happy at the moment that it is one less thing to cause stress x

There is a lot we can take in car tbh although would take a few journeys, but it isn't a far drive anyway. There is enough in our house move pot to fund a moving company though if needed so something to ponder I guess. I also have a week off coming up soon so hoping to use this time wisely depending on when we officially get keys(should be tomorrow) We still have a month in current place as well so we do have enough time to be patient.Days to Orlando: 516 - ☀️0 -
