Just noticed Three now offer SIM only with the “got ya” of 24 month contracts, although they still have 12 month ones too.
It’s the first time I’ve seen such long SIM only contracts... is this something that other networks offer?

EE also offer 24 month SIM Only tariffs too; the second longest (looking at the main networks alone) is o2 with 18 months. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0

Why's it a 'got ya' contract? They offer 1 month, 12 month or 24 month deals with UL (for instance) being £26, £22 or £20 per month and it being very obvious and easy to choose to suit yourself.
That looks like a good range of choices to me.0 -
I think it’s a “got ya” in the same way that folks see the “free mobile” type of deal, and then sign up for a 2 year contract. A lot can happen in 2 years, especially personal circumstances... as evidenced by the numbers that want to quit a contract early.
Personally 2 years is more than I would commit to.0 -
£20/month unlimited data seems good value. I'm hoping that 24 month deal is still available when my current Vodafone contract ends on 29th June. Currently paying £25 for 30GB but Vodafone won't offer me anything close to the Three deal so I'll be off!0
