Victorian Plumbing woes

We've ordered a Grohe Bau ceramic toilet set from Victorian Plumbing and I really regret it.
It wasn't even money saving as we could bought an Ideal Standard Aquablade toilet set from an authorized dealer were we ordered our bath set, taps and basin set.
We thought the extra cost would be worth it for a blooming quick release set which would be helpful with a toilet trained todder.
The first order was placed nearly a month before the bathroom fitter started work but we had to send it back as the cistern was wrong, it had a side inlet instead of a bottom inlet. Since we needed it as soon as possible, we placed another order for the toilet pack with the correct inlet and paid for next day delivery.
It came promptly but there was a manufacturing fault, water was leaking under the front of toilet pan so we called them to ask for a replacement toilet pack.
I had to insist that they immediately send a replacement because we are paying for the bathroom fitter's time and he could have installed it on the day but instead spent nearly 3 hours trying to find where the leak was coming from, they were telling us to wait 48 hours for a resolution.
They eventually sent us a toilet pack which arrived on Monday but was smashed to bits upon opening it. We tried to call the attention of the DPD driver but he was having none of it.
They agreed to send us another one with next day delivery but refused to collect the faulty toilet pan and the damaged toilet pan instead they advised us to send them an invoice for the waste disposal. Which they are now trying to fob us off.
I would have ask them to collect the entire thing back but our bathroom fitter had already fix the screws on the floor and measured it accordingly so we were stuck with that particular brand and model.
I don't even know where to start asking for compensation (they just refunded us the £29.94 delivery charge but no word yet on the waste removal) for this whole debacle and we are still waiting for a refund for the first order.
I wish, I never bought from Victorian Plumbing, such poor customer service.

I use them fairly regularly for bits and pieces. Never had a problem.
Victorian Plumbing not to be confused with Victoria Plumb .Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Victorian Plumbing not to be confused with Victoria Plumb .
One of the other plumbers who came in to give us a quote said he had a trade account with Victoria Plum and had no issues with them. We are still pushing for them to collect the broken toilet pans or pay for it as several of their customer reps have advised us to send them the bill but we'd rather have the money first as they may not honour it.
I have sent them the lowest quote from a licensed waste removal service but they are giving us the run around.
I'm so tempted to bill them for all the time we've so far spent getting rid of all the packaging (mountains of paper, boxes, & pallets) associated with it.0 -

So is it Victorian Plumbing or Victoria Plumb?!
Because I wouldn't buy anything from Victoria Plumb. Especially not anything metallic.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I know it's a total PITA but can you not take the broken pans to the local tip? At least they'd be out of your hair, even if it's two runs. If the seats were included, keep those - one as a spare and sell the others on?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Agreed. It's more effort getting compensation than it is doing a tip run with a few other bits that need to go. You spend the money trying to recoup money that you never really needed to spend.
In reality, a bathroom replacement involves a skip sat on the drive/street.
I'm wondering how I'd go about getting a reasonable quote for removing *just* a toilet from a registered waste carrier. It would cost way more than it should if one were being practical about it.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Just to confuse things further, Victoria Plumb changed its name to Victoria Plum in 2015.
There was a court case with Victorian Plumbing, but I'm not wading through all that!0 -
Base on your experience, I guess victorian plumbing will be a no for me whenever I need bathroom products.Choose to be the better person, always.0
