Hi,
I got a parking ticket in my private work car park for not parking in a designated space by an outside ticketing company. ( bare in mind i was late for work and there were no spaces left and i was not blocking any other vehicle!)
I ignored it as i was told by other workmates to do so and it will just go away. However it hasn't gone away, i am being written to by a company called ZZPS weekly and am now getting called/texts off a QDR solicitors.
Should i be worried? I really don't want this to go on my credit rating as i need to swap mortgage deals soon. I just feel like it's unfair that it's my work carpark!
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ignoring had not been advised here since the law changed in 2012.
Try to get your employer to cancel it. Get your Union rep involved if you have one.
Send the appeal in blue text from the NEWBIES. It will no doubt be rejected for being too late, but it will show that you tried to engage with them.
Complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Are the solicitors not legit? I have read a couple of threads on here, but it's a minefield and i am so stressed about this now.
I really don't want to go to court!
I will see what my HR say but i fear they won't do anything as it's happened to loads of people. I just don't see how a workplace can do this!0 -

Nothing is stopping you from appealing.
If QDR solicitors are acting as debt collectors they can be ignored.
If loads of people have been caught, then loads of people should be hammering HR and their bosses, just like you should be doing!
Show them the comments in red from post 1 of the NEWBIES where our MPs have said in open parliament that these scammers are cowboys and bloodsuckers.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
