Photo/memory stick for Android phone photo’s

I have a Samsung S6 (android phone) 32gb, which is telling me my storage is full. This amounts to the vast amount of photo’s I have on it looking at my settings? I’ve seen several “adverts” on my FB page for a few months now about a photo memory stick - which are from USA. These supposedly clear duplicates etc and the 128gb stores 60k photo’s.

Are there any recommendations for something similar here please? Or, are there any memory sticks you would recommend. I have googled and Amazon came up with a few but I don’t recognise any of the names or know much about them.
Thanks very much.

I'm not farimilar with a 'Photo Stick; Is it just a memory stick that clears duplicates? If so, work out the cost of one of those compared to a normal usb stick (and also check the reviews for failure rates of the sticks). As clearing out dupicates it something that would be easy to do via a computer.

If you only use your phone to store the images, please resolve this right away. If you lose your phone, you have lost all your photos. I recommend keeping a copy on a computer, and one on an online service such as Google Photos.

Simply install/open Google photos App on phone

Click 'free up space' on app and all your photos will store up in your google account cloud

Another vote for Google photos as ballyblack points out.
Saves messing about with usb sticks etc and all future pics will be backed up and saved there.

When I try that it tells me it can't because I have no photos backed up ... even though the same app tells me that it has backed up, and I can see the photos online via a web browser.

@OP ... plug your phone into your PC and manually copy the photos over? Once done you could then delete them from your phone. Or perhaps do both this and the backup mentioned above?

I would just plug the phone into my PC using the same USB cable that plugs into the wall charger and transfer the files to my PC.

Cost? Absolutely none, unless you need to buy a USB cable.

As someone said on here a couple of weeks back, if it's not backed up in at least 3 places, it's not backed up.

Just leaving them on the phone means you could lose the lot at some point!

Backup to cloud and a stick and a pc...

Thank you for all your helpful advice.
I looked at Google photo’s on my phone - didn’t realise I had it and all the photo’s are there. They are also on my PC. Presumably in/on iCloud as well. Have to say though that is over the top of my head how it all works!
Sorry another question. I’d like to leave a few photo’s on my phone but is there an easier way to do this other than going through one by one and deleting please? Thank you again.

Probably easiest to delete them all and then copy back the ones you want on it.

Check that the photos that have been uploaded are the same size and quality than the ones on your phone, before you delete them from your phone.
