Usually, if you're only seeing pictures of the garden and not the inside on a sales page, the inside is horrendous. It's conceivable that they have changed doors, added a new boiler, redecorated etcetc, but asking for 38k more for something that was bought 10 months ago is asking a lot...Is it comparable to the area?
It probably is on the high side. I looked at another on that estate which was mid terraced, without garage and it was on for £100k. I've searched and there are only 2 on that particular road in the last 2 years and that one was £77k and another £80k. I do think its high even if they have gutted the house.0 -
These are the only other similar houses on the market:

The 2nd one is the other one I had viewed previously.0 -

Ha yes but I'm looking at these houses anyway as they've in my price range, area and size. The interior definitely doesn't match the exterior.0 -

Its a stroke of luck I work in a firm of planners and engineers. Apparently its to do with subsidence due to former coal mining. I will speak with one of our Geotechnical engineers.0 -

Don't get me wrong nothing wrong with the houses but if i was looking at same area i would be looking at one that was.......erm more tastefully decorated/in keeping0 -
It is one of the few of those that have a garden.0

I just hate the whole house. The interior makes it feel as if it needs modernising and the alterations to the windows in the front makes me think that someone is trying to disguise the fact that it is an ugly ex council house on an ugly council estate.
Those houses will have a top price for that area and something tells me that £77k is nearer that top price than £113k.0
